Permanent Hair Removal – Focused Laser Light Grabs the Hairs at the Root

Hairless, smooth skin – Rosenpark Clinic helps you reach your goal gently and quickly. Using the most modern technologies, our specialists remove your bothersome body hair permanently – without any need for razors, wax and epilators.

How is it performed?

At Rosenpark Clinic, we primarily use diode laser technology for permanent hair removal.

The method is based on the principle of photoepilation. In this procedure, laser impulses are emitted in a specific, controlled fashion using a handheld unit; the impulses target the hair-color pigment melanin in the upper layers of skin. The melanin absorbs the light energy and converts it into heat which has an effect down to the roots of the hair. Because of the heat build-up, the hairs fall out; at the same time, their roots are destroyed and do not produce any new hair.

Six to eight sessions are needed for permanent hair removal using the diode laser.

Is any sort of anesthesia required?

No.

What do I need to be aware of?

In order for the principle of photoepilation to work and the energy from the laser to be able to be directed through the hair to the root, it is important that you do not pluck or epilate any hairs from the respective body areas before and during the entire time period of the series of treatments. Plus: Protection against UV-light prior to treatment and during treatment is necessary.
