Effectively Correct Hooded Eyelids - For an Open, Friendly Look

Nowadays, hooded eyelids and drooping upper lids can be corrected in a nearly risk-free fashion on an outpatient basis through upper lid tightening.

At Rosenpark Clinic, we specialize in surgical eyelid lifting. A measure of our success is an appropriate, natural result which reflects your personal facial expressions and individuality.

Drooping upper eyelids can even give the eyes of well-rested persons a tired or even unfriendly appearance. It is also not uncommon for the visual field to be significantly limited. Eyelid lifting gives you back an open, lively and friendly look.

How is it performed?

During upper eyelid lifting, the excess skin and fat as well as droopy muscle tissue is gently and proportionately removed. The thin skin of the eyelid is then closed with the thinnest suture material. The very fine scar in the eyelid fold is not visible later to others.

What sort of anesthesia is required?

The treatment is performed under local anesthesiaFor more information about your options for a comfortable, pain-free treatment see the anesthesia section.

When can I resume normal daily activities?

Essentially immediately – in the first few days, wearing sunglasses is suggested. Stitches have to be removed after five to seven days. Small bruises and areas of swelling of the eyelids will resolve after seven to 14 days. The procedure itself is performed on an outpatient basis.
