Thread lift combines facial tightening and volume therapy. It fights soft and moderately-severe wrinkles, occurring in the ages between 30 and 50. Due to their special structure, the threads made of biodegradable material can be firmly fastened into the skin to strengthen and tighten it. During their decomposition collagen is integrated into the tissue – a new and natural support frame forms.
These are the benefits of thread lift:
The lifting effect is obvious immediately. The tightening effect and increased volume stays up to 18 to 24 months.
Thread lift is ideal for
For thread lifting at Rosenpark Clinic we apply the biodegradable threads Princess® PDO and Happy Lift by Croma Pharma as well as Silhouette Soft®.
The physician applies the thread through an extremely small cut into the skin and – depending on the treated area – comes out at the same spot or through a likewise small cut. Their special structure keeps the threads where the physician has placed them by a soft massage.
The treatment is performed under classical local anesthesia. For more information about your options for a comfortable, pain-free treatment see the anesthesia section.
Thread lifting is an outpatient treatment and also called a “lunch procedure“: It usually only takes the length of a lunch break, and most of the patients can follow their daily activities directly afterwards – with only a short time for recovery.
Duration of the treatment itself is about one hour. The access doesn´t need special medical care and will heal by itself.
However, we recommend refraining from sports for 4 to 5 weeks. Light swelling and possible bruises can be mitigated by cooling.
For more information, please see our " thread lift" info leaflets which you can order from us, free of charge.
After treatment we recommend special skin care. In the cosmetic department of Rosenpark Clinic are competent staff members who will create your personal anti-aging care Regimen.
Thread lifting is also suitable for combination with other methods, for example, treatment with IPL, fractional lasers, Deep Meso, hyaluronic acid and botulinumtoxin.
